Police in the Khun Han district of Sisaket in north east Thailand reacted after a famous luuk thung or country singer complained of the smells coming from a fertilizer depot.

Nuch Wilawan S. said she was selling her property because of the stench, reported Daily News.

Consumer Protection Division cops found that the business had no licence and was threatening local residents' health and the owner was slapped with two charges.

It was shut down.

The singer went online to thank the authorities for their action.

Like a canary!

Just the place perhaps for a Covid victim that lost their sense of smell ?

But the contents left in situ to rot?

You'd have thought a 'Country' singer would have enjoyed the aroma of country air.

No one can learn to sing, you either can or you can't. Musical ability is something you are born with, you either have it or you don't.

Saying that, not everyone born with a good ear for music ends up as a professional or semi professional musician.

I think you missed the joke.
