Opinion Thailand's Visa Shake-Up Threatens Retiree Paradise
Long term retirement visa sounds good if I were to move permanently (or semi permanently) to Thailand. -

DWP New site from Issan Group new banking requirements
The only action I could contemplate is for those living abroad who have not yet declared that to be the case to HMRC/DWP. Apparently (using AI?) the government can scan for transfers abroad, ATM's used, purchases overseas etc to detect where you seem to be living.....how you would disguise that kind of stuff I have no idea. Shame they don't put as much time and energy into tax evasion. -

Bill Gates’ superyacht uses liquid hydrogen stored at -423°F
Bill Gates’ superyacht uses liquid hydrogen stored at -423°F, nearly as cold as outer space, and generates so much electricity that it can power 30 of the Microsoft co-founder’s 66,000-square-foot mansions at once, without releasing a single gram of CO2 into the atmosphere. Bill Gates’ superyacht Breakthrough is not just another billionaire’s indulgence gliding across the seas. It is a technological statement, equipped with a 3-megawatt hydrogen fuel cell system that represents one of the most ambitious clean-energy integrations in marine history. Built by Feadship and designed by RWD, the 118.8-meter vessel uses ABB’s Onboard DC Grid platform, dual 3.2-megawatt Azipod propulsion units, and advanced power management systems to deliver silent, emission-free operation. At anchor, it can run entirely on hydrogen for up to a week, and when departing or entering sensitive marine zones, it can cruise at 10 knots without burning a single drop of diesel. https://luxurylaunches.com/transport/bill-gates-superyacht-3mw-hydrogen-fuel-cell-plant-08152025.php -

7eleven
I just pop into the bank, every 3rd month, as a requirement, to avoid filing a FBAR. Once is almost enough for me to have cash for the whole year, if wanting, as we don't spend more than 300k a year. Cash - filthy dirty ... stop, you're killing me -

‘Putin clearly won’: Pundits say meeting was ‘bad for Americans’
What did Putin win? A photo opp? A cuddly toy? Many are reserving judgement. I'm not. I think it was worth the risk. If it results in a Putin-Zelensky meeting, outstanding.
