Hello all,

My friend from Canada is planning to retire in Phuket soon. He has an english speaking 4 year old kid that will need to go to school here in Phuket..

As per the title, is it possible to  recommend a good quality english-program primary school for around 150k baht or less in Phuket?

cheers.

QSI will be considerably more expensive.

The small international schools will be in the price range, like Palm House/Lighthouse, ISP.

Do you have any opinion on the Darasamuth Phuket School English Programme (EP)?

Long time ago when I was looking for my oldest I made the choice for Palm House. Darasamuth was my alternative. Distance to Darasamuth was an issue then plus I preferred a much smaller school. I think Darasamuth has increased the prices considerably since.

Recently Palm House and lighthouse have merged, which seems to be a positive for both.

Darasamuth is around 100k/year for EP.

Our experience with the English Programme and the farang teaching staff have been very good.
