Booster timing.

Featured Replies

Interested to know what others feel about timing between 2nd AZ and their booster shot.

Some (experts)  say 3 months and  others say 6 months.

What do TV posters think?

ASAP, with Omicrom wave about to hit our shores.

I just got mine done 3months and couple of weeks following my 2nd regular  vaccine, happy to have done that now

This is official:

I had AZ and the time between shots was very long. So long time for booster that might not even do much is not great. But then again, I barely go out so it doesn't matter.

I had my first Pfizer Feb this year, (UK) just had my second early Nov (TH) third is my Thailand second end of this month so for me a 6 months wait for another shot if required seems fine, no worries, not sure why there is such a rush for the boosters but I guess it's down to individual circumstance. I just got lucky with the way things fell into place I guess.

Looks like no vaccine is really a match for the different Omicron subvarieties. Better to wait for an 'improved' vaccine. It might not be the last one either, and I wouldn't feel comfortable being jabbed every 3 months. Every 6 months has to suffice...
