Great. So one can aspire to be among the 4.9 billion globally who won't get it by February 2022.

Re the IMHE model info linked above:

“Sure, this (IMHE model) is a potential outcome,” said Julie Swann, professor at North Carolina State University who studies pandemic modeling and health systems. “How certain am I that this is the outcome? Not certain at all.”

Anutin Thailand is effectively closed as of now because of the statement made to stop T & G Nobody is going to trust coming to Thailand, and on Day 7 have PCR test that could be positive

  • I remember when them open up the General Prayut say #When we open up it is no way back , we will have to learn to live whit the Covid# well that last long , General Prauyt fail again ????????????

  • Words and symantics do not matter. Trust is gone. People were nuts to consider a short term holiday here anyway. Imo, the risks are too great for an experience which is a shadow of what prepandem

Nobody is going to trust coming to Thailand, and on Day 7 have PCR test that could be positive, and then confined to an expensive Quarantine Facility

Isn't insurance that covers possible quarantine a requirement? I get confused by all the changes.

Can you explain to me the logic of "mucking about" on a motor bike with a mask, or travelling with your wife in a car and having to wear a mask?

Also explain how the doctor is going to enforce not speaking to your family while having a meal at home at your own dinner table?

I can understand the logic of having to wear one in supermarkets etc, but really...?

Its in the supermarket and malls near me that  i see only 95% of the farangs not wearing masks. Obviously not in home or in cars.

Must be different in your neck of the woods then - here nearly everyone wears a mask in a shop, and in large supermarkets like Macro there is even a security guard at the entrance to remind you!

Having said that, there are many smaller shops where the staff do not bother with masks, and 95% of them are Thais!

That surprises me, I use only Big-CX, but would not say so many are not wearing masks or not wearing them properly. I might agree that of those not wearing masks, or not wearing them properly, 95% are falang.

Around Jomtien Complex it is a rarity to see a farang wearing a mask , sadly. A lot of them seem to be tourists staying in hotels or such there.

What became 'temporary' in March 2020 has stretched to 2 years. Hopefully, this 'temporary' is really temporary.

'2 weeks to flatten the curve'

Only 3 days before the big review on the 4th....what's the word?

Open everything back up and let omicron rip as the latest flu to gain immunity is my vote ????
