COVID-19: Thailand reports 2,437 new coronavirus cases, 18 deaths, 3,845 recoveries

Featured Replies

If their intention is to stop omicron they need to go in to a fairly strict lockdown now, eg, close malls, bars, restaurants, schools, etc.  That might keep cases from rising above a few thousand a day.  Keep it the same, and there will be tens of thousands within a month or so.

  • I believe that the cases are low enough to stop reporting now and perhaps go back to reporting deaths per day on the roads, and less fearmongering perhaps.

  • PCR test positive cases, total of 2,437 official new infections. 18 official covid deaths recorded.   Rapid tests positive cases, 505 bringing the total of PCR and ATK results to 2,942

I agree, reporting the cases every day is just adding to the false narrative. Get on with our lives.

As they say, fear is a powerful tool.

Sure report it when there something worth reporting, or report it once a week, numbers down, but if the numbers of deaths are up, report it, otherwise we can all catch this now lessor strain of the virus, as for the old and those with weaker immune systems, not discriminating, but there are other boogie men out there looking to infect you too.
