Entering the No. 88 slot is the Christmas '65 latecomer Snow Flake by Jim Reeves.  For those who hadn't yet taken down their Christmas tree back in '66.

Coming in at No. 86 is (You're Gonna) Hurt Yourself by Frankie Valli.  Maybe it wasn't such a great decade for music after all.

The best progressive radio station in Chicago beginning in the early 70's and stretching decades used to regularly feature the week's rock 'n' roll deceased on their Saturday programming.  They'd introduce the segment with a short audio of Monty Python's Bring Out The Dead.

I'd abandoned that theme early last year but it's time to resurrect it from it's shallow grave.  Kudo's to bannork for maintaining his Birthday theme in response.

Let's see, I had left off with deaths up to Feb. 13, 2021.  So continuing on we had the death of Ewart Beckford, known as U Roy, a Jamaican vocalist and pioneer of toasting, on Feb. 17, 2021.

Wake The Town off of his '74 U Roy album.

Bob James (d. February 26, 2021), lead singer of the very successful California-based hard rock band Montrose.  I thought they majorly sucked and so can't bring myself to post anything from them.

My apologies to all you Montrose fans out there.  Not.

Unfortunately, not all of my duplicate posts from Roy Orbinson were deleted. So I would like to briefly explain how it came about. When I wanted to post the video there was a small note under the box which read

Please wait 9 secs before submitting your next post

or something similar like to that.

No problem, I did other things. however, the text does not disappear. Only then did I try to submit my post several times, again and again, but at the time without success. Only the next day did I see the misery when I was informed. And when I wanted to write my apology, the video was still in the box and I had to delete it first. Maybe someone can explain this mystery to me.

Whenever that happens you will get a repost if you attempt to resubmit, and a repost every time you resubmit.  To avoid a repost simply refresh the page.  After refresh you'll see your post in the thread.

Happens to me and it's not infrequent.

I've been experiencing a similar issue. Sometimes when I reply to a topic, my last reply to that topic is still in the "reply box" and I have to delete it before entering the details of my new post. This has been happening for at least a week, possibly longer.

Sometimes that's a blessing.  I'm usually verbose in my posting and I've had instances of my PC going down while I'm in the process of composing a post.  After rebooting and getting back on the site my last post is still there.

Why he's just as good as the Pied Piper of Hamelin.  Now I'm wondering what instrument one would need to play to attract the ladies like that.  A skin flute?
