Popular Post webfact
Thai Prime Minister Prayut Chan-o-cha said he is confident that 2022 will be a year of the “sustainable extension” of his government’s achievements during the previous year, despite the crises and challenges confronted by the country. In his Facebook post today (Sunday), the prime minister elaborated on what he considers to be his government’s achievements, ranging from the procurement of sufficient COVID-19 vaccines, economic recovery, the rice price guarantee for farmers, the 50:50 co-payment stimulus scheme and access to funding for small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs). He claimed that the government’s success in administering more than 100 million doses of vaccines has controlled the spread of COVID-19, to the extent that Thailand has reopened its borders and many businesses have been able to resume operations, albeit under strict safety measures. Popular Post daveAustin
Stop blowing your own trumpet. Your achievements, if any, are negligible in comparison with the misery you have bestowed on your people. The best thing you could do for your country in 2022 is to gather up your bros, fold up your tents and disappear. 42 15
Popular Post Soikhaonoiken
Full of his own importance... The only thing that's been a success from this Government is bringing misery to the Thai people.

Popular Post ikke1959
Covid is going to be milder, 100 million doses are a lot but the people fully vaccinated are not even 47 million, reopening is/was a disaster with all restrictions, the price of diesel as promised have exceeded the 28 THB, despite it was set aat 28THB. The poverty has risen, and also the debt of Thai people, and many more things.. So better yeah worse is almost impossible unless they keep the policy that they do now for this year too

Popular Post steven100
Good work Khun Prayut Chan O Cha in what was certainly a difficult year for everyone and especially the Thai people. As mentioned, the stimulus package hopefully helped slightly although obviously not enough for everyone. The food supplement of the 50:50 was greatly welcomed by all Thais and I'm sure it was appreciated by both the SME's and the purchaser's. Let's hope for a for more prosperous 2022 for the thais and especially the thai farmers, also not forgetting the farangs who help support thousands of Thai families day in day out. On another note, Thailand needs to forget about it's reliance on Tourism from overseas, those days are long gone .. hence it needs to look at other more sustainable forms of income within the agricultural, manufacturing and research & development sectors. Thailand has weathered the storm of 2021, and hopefully sail into 2022 at a much faster, robust and sturdier pace. Shouldn't be too hard to achieve an improvement on 2021 all things considered. Unless they manage to screw-up the booster programme.

Are you serious?? 50/50 a succes??? in my soi there are several families who hardly can a meal every day. They work but don't have money. How can they use 50/50?? and that is only my soi.. How many all over Thailan d would there be? Easy to say, because there are a lot of people who travel around and use 50/50 to sleep in expensive hotels or do shopping, but they have money already Edited January 3, 2022 by ikke1959 7

Popular Post newnative
Very thin gruel in the way of achievements. Vaccinations and rice support. Reactions rather than actions the operating mode--not the way to govern and lead. No boldness, no imagination on display. No exciting new policy initiatives. Lots of endless talk, leading to nothing. Likely more of the same morass this year.

What he really means is that the bank accounts of him and his mates will continue to swell this year after all the money they made last year from schemes such as rice pledging and funding for SME's. The money they all creamed off from providing over 100 million doses of vaccine was very helpful too, and they hope the booster shot programme this year will continue to "boost" their bank balances, lol. So no need to worry about loong Prayut, he'll manage to become even richer this year than last.
