sipi
I don't log on often, but when I do the green notification alert is the first thing I notice, not by choice. So how do you react to your notifications? Do you think "Who have I entertained this time?" Or, "oh sheesh, who have I offended this time?" Popular Post The Hammer2021
You can turn off or delete your notifications. Every time I make a controversial comment such as when I say something positive about Thailand I turn off notifications as a couple of Thai bashers and Thai haters stalk me. Thus they are just firing blanks..lol BTW Its always easy to see who is posting from outside of Thailand by the consistent timing of their posts. 1
sipi
Alright I've just clocked on again after a month or two. Only 2 notifications, well that's a relief. Thanks Rumak. You are welcome anytime.
chickenslegs
Hi @sipi I can empathise with you. I have learned to (mostly) keep away from the topics which attract the more aggressive posters. There is a wealth of interesting topics on this forum, with members who are helpful, respectful, informative, and amusing. Most of my notifications come from topics that I "follow", e.g. @owl sees all topic (Diary of a farang in isaan) or the worst joke ever thread - so I look forward to receiving notifications of new posts there.
