It's highly unlikely to be Thai given the complete absence of vowels.

 

I suspect it's a simple substitution cipher using Thai consonants to represent the Roman alphabet.  Frequency analysis should be enough to get you started.  I'd guess that  is a vowel, probably e, given its frequency.

I hope the OP, @squierstrat, will come back here and post what he managed to do with that jumble of Thai consonants.

Good spot but approach gives you sdlxf for the first 5 letters.

 

I liked the substitution idea but there are well over 26 different characters so that seems a bit of a stretch as well.

 

Some people post things on here for a laugh. Just saying.
