A TikTok video posted by a family showed them counting money they saved in a piggy bank - in reality a drinking water tank - over the last two years.

 

The video by 'mamahatakaj' revealed that collectively the family had saved bundles of cash that totalled 1,469,400 baht.

 

Not bad for a couple of years work!

 

"We're proud of ourselves", they stated in a story reported by Sanook yesterday.

that means they were saving on average 58,000 /  month 

how is that possible after buying food, water, electric, petrol, and any other necessities.

I took a peek at the TikTok acct...apparently they own some business ventures and don't look like an average struggling Thai family

I can't save  1.4 million baht in 2 years.. I even don't  in 5 years time.. I have to live too and pay my bills

Maybe a very large family.

May be good business people but down to earth idiots that advertise they have all that money at home. What are they wait for? extortion or kidnapping something will come their way.
