Is this just jobs for the boys---I mean you have an agency at the top of walking street Pattaya---90 minutes drive from BKK embassy, now they feel they need one the other side of BKK in  Hua Hin, how many 1,000s of French nationals living there that cant make that really big journey to BKK --- Have  in Phuket --Chaing Mai---even in Issan Khon Kean.

Maybe I am just a bit Jealous --the Oz or Brit Embassy's dont seem to move at all.

They're way too busy attending gala parties at the American Embassy

It's not a consulate , just an office to do simple jobs like life certificate, to avoid people make long journey or stay one nignt in Bangkok

the guy who works here works for free

I've lived in HH for a number of years.  Certainly there are some Frenchmen there but not all that many.  I'm not sure about the need but I don't have a dog in the fight so good for them I guess.
