Naval vessels dispatched to help in fight oil spill in Gulf of Thailand

The Royal Thai Navy (RTN) has ordered three naval vessels from the First Fleet Command to be dispatched to help in containing oil leaking from a sunken tanker in the Gulf of Thailand, about 24 nautical miles from the Chumphon estuary, RTN Spokesman Vice Admiral Pokkrong Monthatphalin said today (Monday).

National – The Thai Food and Drug Administration (FDA) has accelerated the implementation of the Cannabis Act which allows planting and growing cannabis plants at home for medical treatment purposes. Thailand’s eateries under close watch as alcohol rules relaxed
