Daily News caption: Pachyderm in a tizzy over bad singing!

Daily News reported on an incident in Nakhon Nayok in central Thailand when a team of officials tried to persuade an elephant called Sarika - named after the area - to go back in the wild after invading a golf course.

Phitak Jitsangiam said he had lots of experience with this sort of thing.

So he decided to sing a soothing song to calm the agitated pachyderm down and defuse the situation.

That's when Sarika charged causing the team to scatter in fear of being gored or trampled to death.

"It must have been my off tune singing," suggested Phitak who later managed to get the errant beast back where it belonged.
