Exit Thailand covid requirement

Featured Replies

Good morning.   I am soon to leave Thailand in seven days for U.K.   do I need any test to exit and fly in Thai airways.

I have booked my test for return to U.K.

many thanks

A friend in UK tells me that testing for arrivals no longer required, but nothing on UK Gov site yet, except suggestion that rules will change.  Best to wait until it is official.

I understand the new rules come into force on 11 February 2022.

Check if your airline has any specific requirements too.  Last time I looked Etihad insisted on a test for all passengers even if their destination country did not require it.

I left last week and they asked for PCR test at check in.

Flying to Greenland via Dubai and Copenhagen.

You are flying Thai airways. Thai follow the end destination rules, in this case the UK. If fully vaccinated.

No pre flight test required.

Passenger Locator Form (PLF), filled out online within 48 hours of flight.

ATK test for day 2 or before ordered online and details of order input on PLF.

Things change on 11th Feb

Requirements are different for unvaccinated.
