Intoxicated man arrested after stealing many large road signs in Pattaya for money to buy more alcohol

Pattaya – An intoxicated man has been arrested after stealing many large road signs on main roads in the Pattaya and Banglamung area for money to buy more alcohol.

 

A team from the Pattaya Highway Office and the Chonburi Highway Police have arrested Mr. Chatree Srichum, 27, earlier this week.

 

He and his friends were caught stealing large road signs on the main roads in and around Pattaya. The two other suspects, however, sped away.

Most of us never even thought about stealing road signs, one might guess.

 

Also, sad, in a way, that we are using our intelligence for this baser purpose.

Drongo down under a few years back decided to steal some copper cable using a battery operated angle grinder.

Problem was it was in an underground rather large pit AND it was live 11kv.

The man is being made a fool of for stealing road signs .

He understands the value of the scrap value .

Not many of the signs are obeyed anyway , so let us not get on to the wasted paint on the roads , as there is not much value in scrap paint ,

He should have just taken the signs that no one understands or are misspelled. He would have plenty and a good excuse. I was just trying to fix the problems. ????????
