Gunmen who assassinated "Jimi Singh" in Phuket have got away - they fled Thailand two days after attack

Just hours after the Thai police claimed that the assassins of a Canadian/Indian gangland figure were definitely still in Thailand the RTP have been forced to admit they got away after all.

 

Jimi Singh Sandhu was gunned down in a hail of 19 bullets outside a Rawai villa on Friday.

 

Police had said his killers were either in Phuket or still in Thailand.

 

They were sure about that.

 

Yesterday RTP chief Pol Gen Suwat Chaengyodsuk admitted they had travelled from Phuket to Bangkok and taken a taxi to Suvarnabhumi airport. 

 

There they boarded separate flights to the same destination believed to be Canada via Europe. 

 

They left two days after the hit on Sunday 6th February.

 

Earlier reports of an arrest proved groundless, said Daily News who had a picture of one of the killers strolling from a taxi at Bangkok's main airport.

 

Suwat said that the RTP know the identity of the assassins and are preparing the paperwork to have them arrested abroad and brought back to Thailand. 

 

They entered Thailand on December 18th, he said.

I like the dedication or commitment and discipline of assasins, They went through all torture 1 day and 5 day of tests and ensured that they dont test positive and  end up in Thai 14 days quagmire.

It seems they also believed in science and vaccinated and my fellow science 'Beliebers' would love that fact that even murderers believe in vaccination......

It's a good job that they managed to get out before being charged with 'work permit' related charges.

In Thailand being an Assassin of drug dealers is a protected occupation, which is reserved for Thai police people.

They surely never came in with guns or left with guns. So there must be a third party in Thailand that supplied, and disposed, of them guns. The police need to concentrate on who the third party was. Catch them/him and the house of cards will tumble.

The guns were registered to a policeman in Phuket. He wanted to take out the competition

also I see the same effort to edit out (cover) the left lower leg in that photo as if the person is wearing a grey sock up to the knee - I will bet there is very identifiable tattoo right there.

 

Thailand right now has very few people passing through airports - and yet these two just walked right in there through an airport and strolled onto a plane unchallenged - yeah right

Amusing at best. When you have a highly corrupt and spectacularly ineffective police department that is protected at the highest levels, and you regularly break many aspects of treaties, in addition to being a nation that barely respects the rules of democracy, and you then approach an organization like Interpol, they likely will have a chuckle, and move on with their important business.

 

Nobody takes Thailand seriously these days. They have opted out of being relevant.

where is luggage of this international traveller? surely highly suspicious if he doesn't have any luggage and travels to some winter country, like canada now, in shorts, short sleeve shirt and sandals.

as they are hired gunmen they would rather not travel together at all.

 

I wait for police statement to be changed in matter if hours.

If the Boss debarcle is anything to go by, extraditon and arrests overseas are perhaps not their forte.

I used to know a woman who worked in the security at Manchester airport, any passenger who turns up for a long haul flight with no luggage raises a Red flag

OH I bet there is report lodged a few minutes after the shooting that the guns were stolen during a break-in at his home, they were taken from locked secure cabinet no doubt.

also if they indeed were hit men they would not likely go together after an unarmed and not protected by security body guards single person.

The second hit man can be in as a back up, but he doesn't have to go into action until needed.

One professional is well enough to finish job, even using 2 guns shot at the same time. Or a larger gun, to pierce bulletproof vest.

So possibly they were not hired gunman but just his friends, associates. It would make easier to track them.

Still, finding them might be problematic, if stolen passports, face biometrics and fingertips were changed. It's not cheap, but can be done

Different when it is a foreigner, they will do everything they can to have him brought back.
