Travelling by train,

Featured Replies

I will travelling by train from Bangkok to Hatyai next month or April.

Do I take the train in Hua Lampong or at the new Bang Sue Grand Station ?

Your advice is much appreciated.

Thanking you all in advance.

I am as puzzled as you Charlie, if there was a train to Nakhon Sawan from Hualamphong I would be on it at the weekend. Under the impression that Hualamphong had closed in December I made enquiries about going from Bang Sue and the response quoted Don Mueang.

The online timetable still quotes Hualamphong.

I passed Bang Sue Grand Station yesterday and did not see any signs of life.

I'll be back in Bangkok later in the week so will try and find out then. How far is the new station from the MRT.? .
