Social Media
Some 354,000 Ukrainian and Russian soldiers have been killed or injured since Moscow invaded Ukraine in February last year, according to a trove of purported United States intelligence documents posted online that also warned the war could last well beyond 2023. Ukrainian officials condemned the Russian military after a video circulating on social media appeared to show the beheading of a Ukrainian prisoner. Popular Post jollyhangmon
Former top Kremlin economic advisor Sergei Guriev says Western sanctions are working but warned that the billions Putin still gets will be used to kill Ukrainians. The Russian economist, who fled Moscow in 2013, says the price cap on Russian oil appears to be working, meaning less money for the Kremlin to buy military technology from third countries like India, China and Turkey. But while Russian technocrats are working to keep the economy afloat, “they help Putin to continue destroying Russia's future.” Asked about whether Putin has changed his long-term goals, Guriev, now a professor at Sciences Po in Paris, says the president has always been corrupt: “He's not an empire builder - he's more of a palace builder.” (Apr 13, 2023 / 26 minutes, he touches plenty of topics, see respective chapters ...) 5

Popular Post rudi49jr
More and more stories and testimonies coming out of Russian atrocities in Ukraine. This one is particularly disturbing because the perps show no remorse whatsoever while telling how they shot little kids through the head. Absolutely disgusting, nazi-behavior of a country claiming to have invaded Ukraine to de-nazify it. 2

rudi49jr
Apparently Prigozhin and his Wagner group are exploiting quite a few gold mines in Africa, including in Sudan. They smuggle the gold back to Russia to fund their war in Ukraine. Interesting article: https://www.aljazeera.com/news/2023/4/17/what-is-the-wagner-groups-role-in-sudan It just goes to show that Prigozhin’s/Wagner’s only interests are money and power, and they will do literally anything to get it.

Popular Post Bkk Brian
If only, hindsight is a wonderful thing but this one cost Ukraine, the West and thousands of Ukraine lives. Clinton regrets persuading Ukraine to denuclearize in 1994 Former U.S. President Bill Clinton said in an interview with RTÉ that he regrets persuading Ukraine to give up its nuclear arsenal. “I feel a personal stake because I got them (Ukraine) to agree to give up their nuclear weapons. And none of them believe that Russia would have pulled this stunt if Ukraine still had their weapons,” he said. https://news.yahoo.com/clinton-regrets-persuading-ukraine-denuclearize-220402205.html 5
