And when we do charge up on the road, it's usually after a 3+ hour drive, and we're in no hurry to get back on the road. Even if in an ICEV, we'd still be at the station for 20+ mins, since having to stay with the car 10 of those, while topping up with petrol. Now with a dog, usually there 30 mins, and the car is done charging, about the same time we're done relaxing.
Not unusual and not against any rules. Thai inmates (and any foreigners) can also come to arrangements with other prisoners to work for them for a consideration and many Thai prisoners make it clear that they are available for menial tasks.
As far as I know, nowadays agents can only help with opening an account at Bangkok Bank. If you want an account at another bank as a tourist, you're out of luck.
That's quite a limitation, especially when you consider how much trouble Bangkok Bank's debit cards have caused many of their customers in recent years. I for one am certainly glad to have cards from other banks as well.

Immigration only wants their cut of the action. Just use their "safe entry" service by air, or van-agent by land, and no problem to do them back-to-back forever.
