Are you kidding me? The guy is a terrible negotiator. He cannot negotiate his way out of a paper bag. Think of the trade war with China. His dealings with Putin, Kim, MBS. He got taken for a ride every time he walked into the room. 

 Prenups are like health insurance. You think they're going to help you and then you read the fine print. You'd do better <deleted> off to Nan province and hiding your assets (from the beginning) than depending on a prenup. 

 

The guy above me talks about integrity. That takes a long time to fully reveal itself in a relationship. But Noi (probably legitimately) needs money right now. Hence, many a slippery slope story like I read here.

 

If you want a partner on the same economic footing as yourself, well, you picked the wrong continent for that and (rightfully) ran away from the one where that was freely on offer.

 

Economic dependence is factor in 95% of east/west or American/Latin American relationships. Without it, there won't be a relationship to worry about.
