March 10, 20224 yr Hello, I can't find much info about going to Phuket with the Test & Go scheme if I travel from Germany with a transit in Bangkok. Is it even possible? There are many such flights on Lufthansa website, but do they show only special BKK-PKT flights that don't require to pass immigration and leave the transit intentional area at the Bkk airport? or is it nor required? or is not the airline concern anyway? Any info would be appreciated, thanks
March 11, 20224 yr Bangkok Airways have special flights that depart from the international arrivals area as a transit flight to Phuket. Your airline would have to issue the ticket to show you are transiting as a international passenger in Bangkok. If are using Test & Go for entry you can book a one night stay at a SHAextra+ hotel in Bangkok and then after a negative covid 19 test you can take a domestic flight to Phuket. And then do the ATK test on day 5 in Phuket.

You need to buy a direct ticket to HKT (Phuket) where your least leg BKK-HKT has rute number PG5XXX (X is a number), which is a sealed transit flight to Phuket operated by Bangkok Airways. Your luggage will be checked-in for HKT at the departure destination. Otherwise as Ubon Joe says, a SHA++ stop with PCR-test in Bangkok and thereafter continue as domestic the next day, which also gives you a variety of airlines to choose from...????
