If they started promoting what Thailand is famous for, the Europeans would return.  Beaches and temples only go so far, there are many better and closer beaches - and there are only so many temples you can visit before yawning.

Ok, the entry is a bit over-the-top these days, but 25 years ago when I first came, the journey itself was a nightmare.  We still came though, again and again, and spent money.

If he would have told, we want to attract more Indian weddings, Arab medical tourists and Australian beach boys it would have been better.  Why, because that are real possible targets that make sense. According to the link there were about 900 of them in a prewar Ukrainian population of some 40 odd million.

 

Russia committed over 100,000 men with all their equipment, planes, helicopters. tanks, artillery, ships etc and then invaded a peaceful independent neutral country to get rid of 900 neo nazis.

 

How many men and how much equipment has he lost so far against these 900 or so men, against how many reported Azov deaths?
