Any engine they are going to put in these barnacle magnets will render them useless as stealth is critical to submarine operations.  

Bit hard to be stealth in 58 meters of sea anyway.

It doesn't matter - the commissions have already been paid; the sole objective of acquiring the subs.  Running them without collisions would be a costly venture.

No.  The exact opposite will occur.  China will move on Taiwan shortly and will demand allegiance from all of its indebted belt and road countries.  When that happens, at best western farangs here will lose their visas.

Actually the order is a recommendation of the post mortem review of the Battle of Koh Chang.

 

Get the subs, can attach them to the sides of the aircraft carrier as outriggers. Will make an even bigger tourist attractions; of course Thais only!
