With military run countries, it never gets better. The writing is on the wall.

It will progressively get worse.

But it does get better with "civilian"-run countries???

Not that most people would ever freely choose to live in "military-run" countries, but it surely is difficult to find so-called "democratic" countries that inevitably "get better."

Besides, as Eisenhower reminded us in 1960, countries are generally (pun intended) ruled by their military-industrial complexes....

The Admiral refused to comment on the rumor that the 13.5 billion Baht contract will now be awarded to his nephew's new company, “Subs by Somchai”.

Looks a great alternative design to fit the Thai economy .

But the engine needs to be German dont forget .

Te military don't trust the navy to have a submarine. The last time they had one they staged a coup. Would have worked but they got stuck in the Chao Phraya river.

The Manhattan Rebellion, 1951. Led by RTN submariners, but a destroyer was used, HTMS Sri Ayutthaya. And it got stuck at Memorial Bridge which was not raised.

This is why submarines were off the table until the most recent interregnum, and submariners considered persona non grata.
