Patong , Phuket – A young Patong Traffic Police officer carried an injured person on his back, moving the injured individual from an accident scene on Patong Hill in which reportedly a wet road caused about ten motorbikes to fall off the hill yesterday morning (April 26th).

The act later went viral on social media, earning significant praise, when other drivers nearby recorded the incident.

Hope the officer was trained medically so that he didn't aggravate said injuries that the rider couldn't move from?

Of course that concern has to be balanced with the concern of further injury if left at the scene of the accident.  Agree that medical training would be useful, but one must be able to make judgements and decisions on scene and if necessary take action.  Hope the injured person recovers quickly.

No. It was probably one of those million Youtubers who make a living of it.

Whenever I've done first aid training, it's been recommended that you do not remove a rider's helmet at the scene in case of head injury. Better to leave it for trained medical staff to remove.

Well done Sergeant Major Tinnakorn. Commendable action.

Hey look someone dieing and police trying to help, let me make a TikTok!!

Moving someone after an accident is a dangerous thing to do, but I guess he new traffic wouldn't stop if signalled by a cop. Ten fell off their bikes, just more incompetent drivers who can't drive on a wet road.

As a rider the first thing I would want picked up would be my bike!
