Daily News Thai Caption: In-law murders two children

Daily News reported on a tragic case that was referred to social activist Paveena Hongsakul who runs a foundation that bears her name.

It concerned an attack on two young children by the brother in law of the boys' mother.

Bang Madua police in Surat Thani in the south of Thailand have now arrested a 33 year old man at a second hand dealers.

The father of the boys told Paveena that he had been sentenced to a term in prison for drugs. While inside his wife had started a relationship with another person.

On release last year he went back to his house to see his boys aged 3 and 2 but was denied access.

On March 25th his former partner took their 3 year old to see him. The boy was very badly bruised and could hardly walk.

His wife said he had fallen off a chair.

He later died. An autopsy revealed bleeding in the stomach.

There was worse news.

His two year old had died on 24th March. He had a brain hemorrhage and ruptured liver and was being cremated.

His wife claimed he had fallen and hit his head on some metal.

The reality was they both boys were attacked by s brother in law who is now in police custody charged with assault causing death of the two boys.

The brother-in-law (an adult?) should be two counts of first-degree murder, but proving this might be difficult.

Why???

probably because he was jealous of the mothers attention given to the kids and not him.

Shame the mother didn't suffer the same fate.

Does this add up?

Which side of the family is the alleged murderer? On the side of the drug-imprisoned biological father, or on the side of the new partner?

Am I missing something?

Whatever the circumstances, 2 very young, innocent boys have been subjected to appalling physical abuse ending with their deaths. RIP in Paradise young lads and may your mother and "uncle" rot in hell!

Both the man and the woman are exhibiting animal dominance behaviour. In the wild when a male lion takes over a pride it kills all the cubs fathered by its predecessor and the female lions (mothers) allow it to do so. This can also occur with other mammals but is not as well documented. So, both these people are no more than animals and should be treated as such. They shouldn't be allowed in humand society and be destroyed (humanely or otherwise depending on your point of view). There have been 2 similar stories in the UK press recently so this behaviour is not confined to Thailand.

Do you know the family and the full facts?

Why was the ex arrested and not the mother?

To me, on the report that I have read it is a case of she said/he said.

It is up to the police and the courts to decide and I don't envy them at all.

I certainly wouldn't want to make that choice on the strength of a newspaper report.

The second the "new man" started hurting the kids she as a mother should have protected them, instead she watched them die..

an innocent party or implicated, either way she is as guilty as he is.

And you know this for certain, and got the information from where?

The mother claiming some false reasons for the boys injuries, is

shameful. RIP to the poor little boys who did not get a chance to

live a long life. First degree murder for the brother in law. Period.
