Popular Post Mr Meeseeks
Expect a lot more of this in the coming months. People are hurting in the pocket and now regretting, and being held accountable for, poor fiscal decisions. A lot of folk will run away back to the provinces, creating even more problems. Amazing no-one is calling out this government for the mess they have created, but that is mostly because of the culture of fear they have instilled in dissenters. Those debts are mounting up and will have to be paid back at some point. A perfect storm is brewing.

Popular Post The Hammer2021
The loan sharks in this country are parasites and sharks whose mafia behaviour is promoted by banks refusing to help people by loaning them money at reasonable rates of interest. Poor people, small busines owners can't get help from the banks so have to turn to loan sharks who charge usurious rates of interest with violence used to collect repayments. I like that even less than consequences. Now I'm even more mad!" shoot, shoot, shoot "Aaah. That's better. Murder and off to jail for me. It was definitely worth it over a few thousand Baht." Popular Post spidermike007
With the economy having been decimated to the extent is has been, this will become more common. Debt is likely soaring here, amongst 60-70% of the population. Millions of jobs have been lost, due to a slowing economy, and the sabotage of the tourism industry by the goons. I guess this is one way to deal with debt. I am certain he is not the first person to think of taking out a banker or a money lender. He just acted on his impulses. Normally, I am not a supporter of homicide. But, when it comes to bankers, money lenders, insurance people, stock brokers, and many corporate executives, my heart does not bleed.

I have no doubt that money, and the demanding of it, played into the fracas, but I'm pretty sure that the getting the shotgun and shooting the guy was simply linked to losing a fight.

He doesn't sound like an intruder. If the guy started a fight over the money, then shot the guy because he lost, self-defence may be hard to prove.

RichardColeman
I think shooting dead the representative of a loan shark pretty much means your life is over. Just as the Yingluck administration was blamed for the suicide of farmers due to the rice pledging scheme, this government should be held accountable for their policies that have caused extreme economic hardships for a number of people.
