The prices of many consumer products have been increasing, as the Thai Retailer Association warns that there is little prospect that they will come down in the next few months.

Meanwhile, Commerce Minister Jurin Laksanawisit told the Lower House, during the debate on budget bill, that his ministry is seeking cooperation from producers to maintain the prices of 18 categories of consumer goods.

Once the prices go up they never come down ,

only seasonal fruits and vegetables will vary

in price.

I was out shopping today Makro and Big C and

I would say just about everything has gone up.

"price of rapid antigen test kits has dropped by about 30% "

stupid thing to say ,when talking about consumer prices

how many of them can you eat.....????

Big C today. The mangosteen came down a little but as you pointed out, the season is cooling a little as competition kicks in.

I've been waiting 20 years.

Stupid article. They'll never go down unless there is a complete depression (and then maybe not). With fertilizer and fuel prices climbing it going to be tough on the farmers, etc.

Thinking about it, how often do we see prices drop? OK, with commodities, they go up and down, and we will see gas prices drop a little, if oil backs down. Consequently, maybe airfares could drop a bit. But, other than that? It seems once they hike prices, they rarely come back down again.
