Da Nang Hotels?
That's a good choice; $ 381 / nite... I stayed at Eden Plaza close to airport. Nice looking huge place but was worn out dump. And empty, only 6 guests on breakfast which was cold, old food and poor selection. Happily they made fresh omelets and they were good. But for $ 22/nite who cares? I didn't. The best places to exchange are jewerly/gold stores. SuperRich at BKK, lowest floor, is better than Vn hotels and airport. Change $ 100 there and rest in Vn. PS. I never went the beach. It's far away from the city. The beach is like any tourist area. I like to mix with regular people and see how they live. One think I didn't like to see was cops were pulling over many young people on motobikes with gf and taking bikes away. That happened in rich and trendy area next to Dragon Bridge. I'm not sure why but looked like they didn't like trendy western looking kids.... -

Trump Harris: Who won the debate ?
As the prophet Jeremiah (5:21) said: 'Hear now this, O foolish people, and without understanding; which have eyes, and see not; which have ears, and hear not.' The modern-day idiom 'There are none so blind as those who cannot see' refers to a figurative blindness—a refusal to accept the truth, even when it’s clear, a trait so indicative of TrumpWorld. -

Trump's Wild Claims: The Truth Behind the Pet-Eating Conspiracy
We're still in the denial stage. Next will be "Why shouldn't they eat them?" Followed by a story on the BBC about how it's good for you and helps ease global warming. Followed by lefties claiming objecting to it is a form of white supremacy. 😃 -

Trump Harris: Who won the debate ?
Not sure if this will move the needle much. People will come away with a vague impression that Trump is an a-hole (true), but they already knew that. They need to know more about Harris and what she plans to do. So as time passes and she still does not clearly define her message, she will start sinking again in the polls. Interesting take from the CNN post-mortem. Viewers came away thinking Trump was MORE capable of handling the economy than before the debate. His lack of discipline really cost him, but in the long run it won't matter. Plus, now the Democrats have had two debates on friendly networks. Wouldn't it be fair and just if they agree to have the next one on less friendly territory? -

The Early Release of Thousands of Prisoners in UK Proves to be Very Unpopular
Can you share with me your financial analysis that shows how much the savings would be? Amongst other things, I'm not sure that building prisons is a way to save money but I'm sure you will provide evidence to explain how that works. -

Are the Baht busses ruining their own business?
You were told to stop the bickering but you just keep going on and on, like a nagging woman. I know where your grand daughter gets her negative attitude from. I reckon your grand daughter needs to grow up, stop provoking people. If you antagonize people, you will get hostility, just like what you are doing here, you won't accept advice, you reply with hostility. Get of the keyboard, get a life, Grow up -

Don’t kill the golden goose! Tax reforms may drive away expats
If he was married, and his wife was not working, they could file jointly and claim her 60l pa as well. Thus taking the total allowances to 560k per year. As the maximum UK state pension is £220 per week, therefore £11440 per annum and at 44 baht to the £ = 503k, there would be no tax liability.
