If you're walking slowly and you're only middle-aged, you probably have an injury.

Just trying to be poiite here.

You know that the really old forum members here insist on being referred to as "middle-aged."

  • my wife walks same speed as me   as for the girlfriend, we normally walk in different directions

  • Depends on what we are walking towards - a somtam stall, and she's a woman on a mission and she practically sprints.    If we go for a pleasant stroll in the park then she can nearly go back

  • I walk the same speed.  My wife's speed depends on whether she is in a mood are not.

I'm not one of them. ???? No grey hair yet.

My wife likes to play a game "if you can catch me, you can have me".

It's been a while.

Whenever we drive anywhere, the kid normally sits on the front because he gets car sick in the back, and the wife sits in the back seat.

I had a work colleague ask me "why does your wife sit in the back seat"

I told him "because the boot is full".

You should have seen the look on his face.

Not me, I can accept reality.

If we go for a pleasant stroll in the park then she can nearly go backwards. Im thinking of hanging a bowl of pla raa in front of her, carrot and stick style.

I rather relate to this.

My wife thinks a 'hike' is walking from the parking lot to the store.

Now, add the lure of food and that woman is on a mission, I'm practically jogging to keep up lol

Must be a deluded superior comparative thing, where one's trivial existence is competing continuously.

Almost pathetic from a cultural perspective.

My wife and her relatives do not like to walk anywhere. they will always call me to go to a shop or drive one of them a few hundred metres.

I bought 14 year old granddaughter a bicycle so that she could go for her own ice cream or other goodies, She ignores it and wants me or her Pa to drive her.

You are the one who carry the wallet, just common sense ????

But to be true, my experience to, they really do not like to walk far.

Solved the problem with driving school and licence to my gf and her father.

Never seen anyone care so much for a normal pick up ever.

Wife often says "why you walk same run " !

What does that mean?

  • Walking is the same as running.
  • Why don't you run, it's better than walking.
  • Why don't you walk, it's better than running.
  • Your walking speed is like running.
