Zoom - why not working in diary?

Sometimes Zoom sessions, booked in advance, show up when I open Zoom.

Other times they do not.

I make the Zoom session in Google diary, choosing Zoom, the other person receives the link.

But often it doesn't appear when I open Zoom, so I have to go to the diary, get the link, then past it into Edge.

Anyone know how to fix this?
