An average of 29,000 cases daily is not the same as actual daily cases.

That figure we shall never know unless actual daily cases are reported which includes of course mild symptoms, but for the CCSA to publish these figures is asking too much.

Leading Thai physician urges Public Health Ministry to reveal actual number of new Covid-19 cases, including all asymptomatic and mild cases

A Thai physician who specialized in emerging infectious diseases urged the Ministry of Health to reveal the actual number of Covid-19 new cases as the number may have gone far beyond the one currently disclosed to the public, according to him.

Obviously 2-3 thousand cases a day is a vast under estimate. All the figures from the start are probably under-estimates. Now with mild symptoms for most people, especially if vaccinated, and home testing, i doubt that even 10% of cases are reported.

In our area, there were very few cases before April this year - none in our family, and only one neighbour. Since then at least 3 neighbours and 7 family members, most in June. Daughter back in school and weekly testing done; Usually a couple in my daughters class each month since she went back. if 5% of all students get it every month, easy to estimate that the REAL monthly figures are probably over a million.
