Thai hoteliers express concerns over government’s proposal of “dual pricing” for foreign tourists

Every country has their own way of 'dual pricing' or giving their own nationals an advantage over foreigners and I don't have a problem with it.

Take Wimbledon the tennis tournaments and how the British players are given centre court when they aren't always the best players at that time in the tournament. Great for the British audience but imagine being a foreigner and paying for top tier tickets and then having to watch second or even a third tier match just because a player is from the home country.

What ever are you on about?

So let's add ad-hominem to your logical gaffes and note once more your lack of any substance to back up your idea that the US is a free market economy and your lack of any knowledge about socialism which you ignorantly criticize.  I answered your points and refuted your arguments and you have failed to demonstrate even the ability to spell correctly.  If you find my ideas lacking, then I'm sure others will notice that which you didn't.  Maybe you can get a friend to explain it to you?

Reread your own comment (if it doesn’t bore you to death) then look up "hypocrisy ". I would suggest you find your own friend to explain that if you have to invent assumptions  to support an argument then you don’t have one … except that I expect you’re severely lacking in that particular department.
You appear to fall into  the delusion that if your argument is refuted then it can only be because someone can’t understand it. Perhaps you can quote examples here of all those that you imagine understand and agree with your point of view? Though I suspect you are something of a Walter Mitty character.

P.S. You might want to take a closer look at your own punctuation shortcomings to avoid being embarrassingly hoist with your own petard.

Sure, the 'big sister' concerned has said many times before 'foreigners have to pay more' and similar. Another family member was in a florist shop in Chiang Mai with 'big sister'. Florist was selling a bunch of flowers to a foreigner. Big Sister intervened and asked 'what the price for Thai people and for foreigners?'

Florist responded 'same price'. Big sister now insists it's Thai law she must charge foreigners 4 times the Thai price. Foreigner says nothing, just disappears. Then a severe argument between the florist and Big Sister. Florists Thai husband then asks all present to leave the shop, then pushes Big Sister out the door and locks the door. Shop re-opend a couple of hours later.

Is the son's buddy a foreigner with a Thai wife?

Big sister is going to get her way one way or another. All it takes is one night drinking the pisss and she demands sex, then wants money later on or gets pregnant ????

Well, if implemented, which is doubtful, it will be a great boost for Air B&B .

This government continues with its ' in out in out ' okey cokey machinations which only serve the purpose of illustrating what you get from a bunch of idiots with zero business acumen.

They're just bored, so someone's got to come up with a story each week.

I don't like being treated like a 2nd class citizen ???? (I'm gonna tear your hotel room to pieces).

My favorite trick is wet plaster balls in the toilet that later stick in there and harden and need to be chisled out of the pipes.

Back in the hippie days, I had a book entitled "Steal This Book" by the radical Abbie Hoffman.  His trick was to rent a safe deposit box at a bank and put a dead fish in it.

...   I say the US needs to charge Thai people double for our national parks.  ...

Yeah, like that Thai family at Yellowstone park who crossed over a very low restricted area barrier and tramped on virgin ground to get a closer look at one of the hot pools.  Folks were yelling at them to get out, and it almost came to the point of a fist fight with one of the Thai sons.  People were just telling them that the crust around the pool was fragile and if they broke through, they would be boiled alive.  It's happened before.

(Stupid American visitors get gored by Bison or bears. Some are killed by getting too close to dangerous wildlife.  Not racisism, just stupidity.)

Soooo, when my wife (Thai) and I stay at a hotel how tf would they charge that?  By whoever's name is on the booking?  Or they have to do the maths?  This is beyond dumb.  Wouldn't think too much into it.

Although............

That very much what I was thinking. Sounds pretty complicated to me. Would it apply to breakfast as well since that is often included. I can't see how it's going to work with booking sites either.

Recalls the “ Yellowstone” TV moment with argumentative CCP Chinese Tourists on private land for photos …. with a giant black bear 20 meters away????

Costner has to fire his shotgun in the air to drive them back on their coach … after responding that ( Private) land is not “ shared” in USA. ????????

Same 'woman' makes up laws as it suits her. She's been fined a number of times for going through red lights.

Most recent case police caught her, lights had changed to red 2 seconds earlier. Cops stop her, she abuses the cops and tells them they don't know the law. She claims that if a person is employed in any job in the government that person and all their relatives are entitled to take 3 more seconds to go through traffic lights.

Cops take her to the local police station. Snr. copy tells her there is no such law and cannot be because it's just illogical and dangerous. She abuses the snr. cop and tells him he should make his staff clean the office every day and she starts to give orders to cops present where they should clean, sweep, mop etc. Snr. cop confiscates/cancels her licences for life (she's already got a list of driving offences as long as your arm) and fines her 10,000Baht.

She still drives wherever she wants to go. But always alone, her family and extended family and her friends refuse to get in her car is she's going to drive.

Is this for real ? She actually has a “husband” ! Must be a major league Idiot/ Moron / Cretin to tolerate one minute of this !! ????

She is clearly Deranged & belongs well away from any Civilization barring a Psychiatric Facility????

In high school we used to take small nails (the kind that look like small pins without the head) from wood shop class and drop them into the door lock hole when nobody was looking, usually for classes that started at 8:30 am the next morning.

The class would get cancelled because the locksmith would need to come in the morning to change out the entire lock when the teacher tried to unlock the door.

The funny thing about it is you can't tell why the door won't work. It just feels like you have the wrong key.

Yes she has a long-term Thai hsband who is a total wimp, and she abused him continuously. She also has a son, but he ran away from home at about 6 years old (2 Km) to stay with grandma, and his mother has never made any attempt to bring him home, to celebrate his birthdays, never contributed one Baht to his education, clothes, bicycle etc., He's almost finished his bachelor degree in engineering, mother doesn't even know he's at uni. He found a part-time school hols job with EGAT at about 15 years old, worked with them every semester break since and has been offered a full-time job when he graduates. His wonderful grandma and grandpa have loved and supported him (incl., financially) and enouraged him every day of his life.
