Bars and nightlife when there is a booze ban

Featured Replies

H i just wondering what nightlife in Pattaya is like when there is a booze ban like there is this week.  Are the bars and nightclubs still open or are they closed.

What is the night  life during these days like.

Better stock up and just drink at home, nothing is ever open during the mandatory alcohol holidays.

Places sometimes reopen at midnight..... but there is supposed to be a midnight closure requirement still. (Can't say as I noticed when out on LK Metro a few days ago).

Most places close... some beer bars are sneak selling.

Good opportunity to prearrange a private party

heard a good joke last night.  Bars on patpong will be open on 13 but only selling op at 170 a can.

Asked if I could BYOP after stapping at 7/11

Owner says one day closed is enough.

Can someone translate. What is a "selling op at 170 a can" or BYOP, bring your own <deleted>, why would bar owner agree that?

sorry guys fingers were not cooperating

selling op at 170 a can translate to selling pop at 170 a can

BYOP I stated as a joke owner would not agree

after stapping = after stopping
