Banglamung – Two local residents were shot, one including a 7-year-old child, when two groups of teenagers were reportedly fighting and began firing gunshots at one another in front of a garage in the Banglamung District Saturday evening, July 9th.

Banglamung police arrived at the scene at a garage in the Nong Prue Subdistrict after being alerted to a shooting incident. Upon arrival, 7-year-old Nong Moodaeng (Nickname, real name withheld) was slightly injured from a bullet that grazed his neck while his father Panupong was injured from a bullet wound to his right shoulder.

Both of them were later transferred to the nearest hospital for a checkup. They had been bystanders to the altercation and not directly involved, according to police.

I’m sure the bystanders that were injured did not just hang out when they started shooting.  They were injured because they were in the area and then the shots started.
And some people will just freeze and not move.

'they would like the police to seriously investigate the incident to prevent reoccurrence.'

Perhaps the child didn't appreciate that they were firing real guns and his father went to protect him, or try to.  That said then the Thai teenagers firing guns possibly have a mental age of less than the poor child that got injured.

Yeah folks focusing on 'spot the idiot' when the terrible reality is that small kids were shot!

Perhaps the "altercation" began with verbal and non-firearm aggression, then guns were whipped out and discharged. If something of this order happened then how is it the fault of people who were there-about's and then were shot, especially small children?
