Anutin the gift that keeps giving, he is a glowing example of all his ilk, a dim over privileged <deleted> who is too thick and arrogant to understand his own incompetence, unfortunately the government and senate is full of clown's just like him...

His critics were less kind…. ????

He admitted that he was duped when he was told by Anutin in parliament that decriminalisation was intended for medical and industrial purposes, when, in fact, they were not.

That was my understanding and under 0.2% THC content ... which is difficult for domestic growers to control I would imagine ... leaving it potentially wide open to fines or bribes when they don't and a nice consortium to process, control and manipulate things ... much like happens with rice.

ummm no it doesnt .. and if this is how you feel    what about alcohol  ... much worse

A whole other subject and perhaps another topic. In this one it is simply called diversion and indicates you lack a retort.

I'm guessing your opinion is the end result of propaganda spruiked by your govt and believed by those with no hands on experience?

Do you consider articles such as these to be propaganda?

NB: Drowsiness is cited as a potential side effect. Are fears of an increase in "lap noi" (falling asleep at the wheel) accidents overblown?

I have no issue with someone partaking in consuming weed in private - but this idiot is trying to get a country addicted, a government promoting this is very careless and will not end well, the medical use excuse has been abandoned - they need to get control of this now before it gets out of control otherwise the basket case ratio in Thailand will rocket, weed has long lasting well documented mental side effects when abused

An interesting story is that the one thing that most of the mass shooters in the U S was heavy use of marijuana.

This is the case of an old man pandering to what he thinks will make him popular.

You can not have free use if marijuana in this country

People aren't smart enough to use it.

The decriminalisation isn't the problem. It's the 300,000 baht that it costs to get a license to grow and sell it. " every home will prosper from this new law" he said. " this will help the poor farmers " he boasted. Yeah right! The billionaires where all ready to go. Their websites and apps were ready before the law was inacted. Some sceptics may even say they knew ahead of time and were even helped to set up. Let's just say that they don't care about the youth or people of Thailand only their pockets. Maybe this mp complaining wasn't offered a place in at ground floor level.

He then ran footage of Anutin’s statement, claiming that cannabis is not a narcotic, but a medicinal crop that will bring fortune to the people, that it can be planted in every household, can be sold to state agencies, such as the Thai Food and Drug Administration, at about 70,000 baht/kg and can be put in food or smoked to make people “laugh

Seems to be all true, so what's the problem?

And all those under 20 that wanted to use before it was legal could find it anyway.

Anutin, what have you done ☹️

New OP

Smoking of the now decriminalized drug was going on so much at the Hang Chat Witthaya School - that has 500 students - that parents went to Pheu Thai MP for the area Phairoj Losunthorn. Thai Rath said that students were smoking all day and lethargic, forgetting their studies.

Better that than taking Yabba...
