webfact
Picture: Thai Rath Thai Rath reported on a meeting between H.E. Mark Gooding, the British Ambassador to Thailand, and Somsak Thepsuthin, the Justice Minister. They were pictured at the Ministry of Justice where an "r" had fallen off the sign. Mr Gooding said that he had been the ambassador for a year now and was impressed with Thailand's moves to improve human rights especially among the prison population. Picture: Thai Rath Somsak was able to reveal that the overcrowding in the prisons was now being addressed with a prison population of just 290,000 down from 390,000. ASEAN NOW notes that this was less to do with moves to address human rights and more to do with the fact that close to 100,000 inmates were released because of the change in the law related to marijuana. Drafts of the marriage act, witness protection act, legislation related to torture and the detention of prisoners as well as the well being of women and children in Thailand were also discussed. Somasak was able to show that Thailand is following international rules when it came to the propagation of Human Rights in the kingdom. -- © Copyright ASEAN NOW 2022-07-26 - Cigna offers a range of visa-compliant plans that meet the minimum requirement of medical treatment, including COVID-19, up to THB 3m. Premises are perfectly adequate for the Ambassadors we have had for the last several years. In fact possibly a mobile noodle vehicle would be more appropriate as they really are a moving target for anybody who wants any support from the Embassy. Unless you are dead of course in which case they soon post how they helped the relatives, its just the living they don't give a monkeys about. 5

Sir Dude
How about he speaks up for UK citizen's rights (or lack thereof) and their situations in Thailand, in contrast to the disparity of said rights that we enjoy here compared to what Thai citizens do in Britain? Pfft.... usual UK embassy nonsense. Edited July 26, 2022 by Sir Dude
