Also injured with a cracked skull was 41-year-old Lek Sosud.

According to Lek, he had come over just to visit his friend Wichit when the Swedish man, whose name has been not released at this time by Pattaya Police, came home and accused the two men of having an affair. Lek denies this allegation and stated the two men were just hanging out as friends.

A furious argument began and according to Lek the Swedish man grabbed a knife from the kitchen, stabbed his boyfriend several times and then attacked Lek, slamming his head into a counter and wall several times. The foreign man then fled.

Pattaya Police are tracking down the Swedish suspect as of press time and have urged the man to turn himself in and give his side of the story. They fear, however, that he may try to flee the country and have alerted Immigration.

Yes, we can all read the OP also.

Hardly surprising in view of the OP's "fixation" [sic] for his thread's title.   I used your choice of word, there but just because someone mentions the homosexual angle doesn't make it a "fixation".

Maybe that was the give-away?

No where near a good enough reason to end up in jail, even if it's only lock up, in Thailand at 60 years of age.

When a relationship is not working out, why not just walk away? That is what well developed adults do. Why all the madness and drama?

Perhaps it is impossible for those of us who are rational, and possess a reasonably sound mind, to understand this kind of craziness. And I guess that is a good thing!

Yes, and since this was so insane, I'd be guessing drugs were involved...

Why are you withholding some important info? Apartment number? In which room of the apartment has it happened?

Crime of passion.

Not very unusual.

Some seem fixated on the gay angle.

Of course the Swede will be found.

It's impossible to tell from the reporting what really happened and we haven't heard from the Swede, so even more so.

But fleeing usually indicates guilt.

The stab wounds and the cracked skull are also a good indicator of guilt.

What in the world is the sense of running?

If he believed both victims had been mortally wounded, maybe he thought he had enough time to flee the country before the bodies were discovered.

look at the crappy stuff westerners do whilst you haters go on about Indians and their straws.

Why would an Indian stab someone with his priceless straw?  What a waste of money.

Drama queen. They switch lovers constantly, so why the fuss over his boyfriend's monkeying around with other men?

Did you know them personally then?

Maybe he was worried about catching Monkey Pox???

Concern about diseases has always been a factor with monogamous couples when cheating is revealed. As far as Monkey Pox it's probably here so far in such low numbers that it isn't a big risk YET.

Unfortunately, monogamy seems to be rare in Thailand amongst males and females, whatever their sexual persuasion!

It seems quite normal and accepted that Thai males in particular will have a "GIK" or two on the side from my experience!

So if the dreaded "Monkey Pox" is here you will be better off having DIY sex (with someone you really love)....Much less risky, cheaper and always good!....Except when you have got a really bad Hangover, but for some reason your brain tells you that you need sex?

Call me a "W*nker" if you want, but better that than catching MP!
