Flying into/out of Heathrow recently

Featured Replies

Has anybody any experience of the above flying on either Eva or Thai? Were there any Security/luggage  delays/problems?

Just avoid terminal 5, no train to immigration when I was there a few weeks back meaning a very long walk

Yes, flew Thai to LHR a few weeks ago. Must have waited 2 hours for my bags to arrive on the carousel. In fact, I had given up on them and was filling in a lost bag claim, lad at the counter said been big problem with all baggage but Thai in particular. Finished filling the form and then saw my bags arrived 555 There were huge mountains of luggage piled up all around the hall, no idea what was going on there.

Good info thanks. Very frustrating to have to wait all that time but it turned out OK in the end. Feel sorry for the counter staff too in such situations.
