Friend has arrived a couple of weeks ago on a 90 day visa intending to retire here. He has his 800,000 in the bank already and will put in his extension application over the next few weeks. 

 

He thinks he has to do a 90 day report when the 90 days of his visa are up but I think that particular clock starts ticking 90 days into his annual extension.

 

Am I right in my assumption - first report due 90 days after extension granted? Thanks guys.
