Can't apply for DTV yet, what are my best options to stay here?
100% reliable. They will not accept your case if they cannot get you in. You contact them, they ask for every page of your passport. They send that to their contacts at the airport who will then review and give a price. They will tell you the price and if you accept there will be an immigration officer that will meet you (you even send a photo of the clothes you are wearing when you board the plane) and they will walk you to a counter and open it just to stamp you in. You can either contact Thai Visa Centre (click "Apply for TDAC", fill out the first page, then select the VIP/Fast Track entry on the 2nd page) https://tdac.agents.co.th/ Or you can get in touch with the agency in this thread: -

Crime Thai Police Arrest 2 Foreigners Who Stole Rental Bikes in Krabi and Fled to Phuket
Police in Thailand have successfully tracked down two foreign men accused of stealing rental motorcycles from Krabi and riding them to Phuket. The suspects rented the bikes from Koh Lanta but never returned them, sparking a search that ended in their arrest. Choeng Thale Police turned to Facebook for assistance, sharing images of the men and appealing to the public. The duo, last seen near a cannabis shop in Choeng Thale, illegally extended the rental period by two hours. Authorities promptly recovered the stolen bikes, which included a black Honda Click 160 and a bronze Honda Click 150. In a twist, the same suspects were linked to thefts from local convenience and cannabis shops, although details on these incidents remain scant. The public's vigilance aided in swiftly locating the individuals, thanks to tips from a local cannabis shop owner. FFollowing the recovery of the stolen bikes, the daughter of the rental shop owner thanked the community for spreading the word and warned others to be cautious. Police have confirmed that the foreigners will face prosecution, though specific charges and penalties are yet to be detailed. Officers are proceeding with formal charges, keeping the public informed as the legal process unfolds. Adapted by ASEAN Now from The Thaiger 2025-07-24 -

Gaza has been at risk of famine for months- experts. Here's why they haven't declared one
July has been one of the deadliest months of the war in Gaza, with Israel killing one person every 12 minutes. The UN says more than 1,000 Palestinians have died trying to get food, mostly when they attempted to collect aid from hubs. Behind these visible deaths lies the horror of systematic starvation: “minutely engineered, closely monitored, precisely designed”, in the words of Prof Alex de Waal, an expert on humanitarian crises The Guardian view on starvation in Gaza: it will take more than words to halt Israel’s genocide
