September 4, 20223 yr Add blockers work in various ways, not every one works in the same way. Different people have different needs so there is no 1 blocker for everyone.

"If you don't pay for the product, then you are the product" Free ad-blockers are free for a reason, they farm your data, your surfing habits and sell them to a third party. They probably want your email address to associate that data, put a name to a face. They have your location, your email and your behavior. Like SWW says, different folks, different strokes - for this site and many others, a pi-hole works for me. Brave might work for you, seems like a decent open source project.
