Foot-washing ceremony highlights gratitude on first day of school

At the opening ceremony of a new school year on Monday, a Hanoi school organized a foot-washing ceremony for students and parents to kindle a spirit of gratitude.

Xanh Tue Duc primary and secondary school in Hanoi's Thanh Oai District organized a special opening ceremony for the new school year, with multiple activities to practice gratitude.

At 2 p.m. Monday, 250 parents and hundreds of students participated in a foot-washing ceremony, where both parents and children would wash one another's feet.
