A man in Ho Chi Minh City carried his lover's corpse to a police station and turned himself in for murdering her on Monday.

Do Tan Loc, 32, drove a car to the police station in District 7 at around 6 a.m. He told officers that he had just murdered his lover, and that her body was in the trunk. Police said the victim was dead, with multiple wounds found on the body.

Loc said he lived with his wife and children in District 7, but he had a 30-year-old lover in Tra Vinh Province in the Mekong Delta. On Sunday, he drove his car from HCMC to Tra Vinh to take his lover to a spa. En route, they had a fight because the woman "forced Loc to get divorced."
