Da Nang tourists surf, swim despite incoming typhoon

On Tuesday morning, several locals and tourists in central Vietnam's Da Nang still enjoyed a swim despite Storm Noru closing in.

People still visited the My Khe, Pham Van Dong and Man Thai beaches in Son Tra and Ngu Hanh Son districts out of habit.

There were only light rains while the winds were not quite so strong in Da Nang Tuesday morning, though the city is expected to be among the first locations where Storm Noru would make landfall early on Wednesday, along with localities like Quang Nam, Quang Ngai and Binh Dinh.
