Siam Rath reported that a mother in Loei in North Eastern Thailand got so fed up with her 33 year old son's drunken behavior and meth habit along with his penchant for shooting guns that she moved out.

Then Suphalak called the Erawan district police. A total of 25 officers along with other authorities arrived and arrest Theerawat in the village of Non Sawan.

Taken into evidence were 24 yaba pills, a 9mm gun, a revolver and a rifle as well as ammunition.

He was charged with possession of a Class 1 drug and illegal weapons and detained.

A cynic might wonder if their reaction would have been as efficient prior to recent events in that area. But GOOD news anyhow,

Because its the obvious conclusion to come to...

Recent tragic mass-murder blamed on person with history of drugs, mass murderer was an ex-policeman... huge loss of face for police.

Mother reports her son for drugs... police reaction is immediate...  police gaining face for doing their jobs properly.

The juvenile mindset of those in these positions (Police) does not operate in any other way.

Had this mother visited a police station 1 months ago, her complaint would have fallen on deaf ears...

Guns and Yaba again .

Potentially a deadly mixture .

I hope he doesn't take revenge on her after his possible short stint in jail.

another drug addict .....  just waiting for the  drug taking TV brigade to arrive in defence ...   ????

There the ones (police) who most likely sold it to him.

It's well know the police run the Yaba trade in the Northeast.

Everybody detests the police.  Mafia garbage!

Interesting to think about whether the recent tragic events gave her the motivation to do this.

Promising thing if so.

For the rest of his life I hope.

Maybe she considered herself being on the receiving end of one of his future tantrums.

Most Thai mothers gushing about their sons.

It's sickening.
