Siam Rath sunk to new lows in their promotion of the Thai authorities' activities in the so called war on drugs, suggests ASEAN NOW.

 

The media mentioned many senior policemen as well as a long list of military and police personnel at the Poi Pet border in Aranyaprathet, eastern Thailand.

They also had plenty of pictures of officials standing proudly after a drugs bust. 

 

Did it involve a large gang with many kilos of hard drugs?

 

No.

It involved a 24 year old woman called Pornnapha who had visited a casino and nightclub before returning from Cambodia with her luggage.

 

Inside the authorities found 0.6 grams of ketamine a Class 2 drug, reported Siam Rath.

 

She was detained for prosecution.

Meanwhile the price of Yabba is at historical lows and beng used and sold everywhere all over the country and they can't stop it.

 

Something tells me they've got their priorities wrong - why don't they arrest the people who run the drugs distribution all over the country?

 

I'm sure they know who they are, but that might be the reason why they're not arrested.
