Two motorcycle riders collide in Pattaya, one killed

Pattaya — A 42-year-old Thai man was killed instantly after colliding his motorcycle with another motorcyclist in Pattaya.

A fatal accident unfolded in the early hours of today, October 20th, on a road near the Mapprachan Reservoir in the Nongprue subdistrict of Banglamung, Chonburi.

A 42-year-old Thai victim, Mr. Ketthit Phrafangyan, was found deceased by Pattaya police on the road. He had bled a lot of blood and sustained multiple serious injuries. His black Honda Wave 125i motorcycle was found with a crumpled frontal part.

Probably one of them riding the wrong way and no helmets in evidence. It's hard to muster any sympathy for them when they all routinely break every road rule that they can.

according to Pol. Lt. Col. Teetat Trunchan, a deputy investigation officer from the Pattaya police station. He assumed the two motorcyclists may have crashed into each other, resulting in one fatality.

There is an average of two people an hour killed on Thai roads, with around 80% of Thai road deaths being motorcycle riders. So this was probably just one of 20 that day who died on his bike. Not sure why some make the news but most don't.

Luckily there were only 2 bikes involved. If 3 then very difficult to determine what happened ! Good to know that suicide is not suspected

It's getting to be the  norm daily news here  people injured or being killed riding motor cycles in Thailand

Nothing changes  not wearing helmets. No license Enforcing safety rules 

It's not going to change ????

Maybe a lot of them are children and the authorities don't want it published.
