Daily News Thai Caption: Tragedy at supper

 

An 80 year old man called Sai told the media how he had heard a loud noise while he was outside his house cutting grass in Kong Din sub-district in Klaeng, Rayong, on Thailand's eastern seaboard, reported Daily News.

 

He ran into the kitchen behind the house and saw a horrific scene.

 

His wife, 77 year old Chalor was in flames.

 

He got some water to put out the fire but it was already too late.

 

Chalor was dead. 

 

It is thought that she suffered a seizure while she was preparing the couple's evening meal and fell into the charcoal burner. 

 

An autopsy has been called for.

How horrible.

Such a sad and horrific event. Now he's old and alone. 

It does not get much worse than that. What a fate. My heart goes out to both of them. What a horrendous way to go and what a terrible thing to witness.
